We spent 18 months developing the Hurdlow Grange farmhouse and its traditional working barns into a luxury holiday destination. Although all of the properties have their own individual character we have kept the overall design the same throughout.
Big comfy leather sofas, solid oak flooring, hand-made curtains and simple but luxurious linens are some of the themes that are common throughout all of the properties. Our ethos was that with everyone leading very busy 'cluttered' lives we would keep the barns very simple, giving a relaxing feel to the rooms. Each property has its own patio and or garden area to sit out and enjoy the location.
Hurdlow Grange is privately owned by a group of friends who have spent years holidaying together in different barns/cottages around the UK. We have tried to create a place that we feel meets the requirements of both walkers and people just wanting a few days to wind down and enjoy a luxury break in The Peak District. We hope we have done this. The feedback so far has been fantastic (see Guest Book) but we'll continue to try and improve the properties as suggestions are made.
