The Grange

photo of property

Sleeps 14 in 7 bedrooms.

This beautiful but imposing detached farmhouse is traditional in every way — dating back some 200 years — with lots of character, large rooms, high ceilings, flagged and oak floors and a stone cellar. You enter the house and off the hall to your right is the lounge with oak flooring and luxurious leather sofas. Ahead to the left is the dining room with traditional farmhouse dining tables. To the rear is the well equipped modern kitchen with everything you will require for your stay. A door leads out from the kitchen onto the shared central courtyard. Off the kitchen down a couple of steps is a utility room and WC with stone flagged floor, space to hang outdoor clothing and shoe storage. Further stone steps lead to the basement which has been recently renovated to a games room housing a pool table and a dart board. The main stairs lead to the bedrooms on the first and second floor of the house, all of a good size, three with double beds and four with twin beds (which can be linked as doubles on request), each having their own en suite bath/shower room, hand basin and toilet. The second floor bedrooms are in the eaves of the house with sloping ceilings adding character to these rooms. Four bedrooms are on the first floor and three on the second. There are private garden areas around the house a private patio area and the shared use of grounds around all of the properties. Off the kitchen down a couple of steps is a utility room and WC with stone flagged floor, space to hang outdoor clothing and shoe storage.
